She oted that the meeting tonight is not a public hearing, and <br />there is no 0 I action that the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) can take <br />regarding . ville Middle School project. <br /> <br /> <br />Public Com s on Items Not on the Agenda <br />John Leary, 111 LaFarge Avenue, thanked the Commission for the award it gave him <br />and his wife last year. He noted that he and his wife are currently planning to apply to <br />the Commission for landmark status for their house. He noted his feelings that this is one <br />way he can give back to the community and to save some of the historic fabric of <br />Louisville. Leary added that sometimes people who promote preservation are accused of <br />not wanting change which is not the case.
