Cityo <br />f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1882 <br />Open Space Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes (Final) <br />Wednesday September 10, 2008 <br />Louisville Public Library, Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />7:00 PM <br />Call to Order -Chairperson Tom Davinroy called the meeting to order at <br />7:OOpm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members PresE;nt: Tom Davinroy, Aaron Grider, Bret Harper, <br />Truman Bradley, Linda Smith, Spencer Guthrie, and Kate LeMere. <br />Board Members Absent: Larry Crowley <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull and Joe Stevens <br />Approval of Agenda -Tom moved to approve the agenda as printed. Truman <br />seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes -Truman moved to accept the August 13~', 2008 <br />minutes as printed. Aaron seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />Public Comments -Art Phelps of The Balfour lodge. They have started a <br />connecting trail from the parking lot to the Hecla trail. They will be getting a <br />permit once the city has ownership of the area, but Art wanted to make sure <br />there was no step at the curk~ in this trail request. Art also mentioned curbing on <br />slopes made from concrete. <br />Ember said there is one spot: on the west end by a dead end road that will be <br />made into a slope instead of drop off. She will check with Kathy Kron regarding <br />other areas. When city takes over management they will put a chain up at end of <br />rickety pier out into water.
