• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 182 <br /> AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE TOWN WATER SYSTEM AND TO AMEND SEC- <br /> TION 5; rules 14 and 20 OF SECTION '6; SECTION 7 AND 8 OF ORDINANCE <br /> NO. 128 ' ENTITLE "ESTABLISHTN.G. RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNINGWATER <br /> RATES AND PRIVILEGES' IN RELATION TO' THE WATER WORKS SYSTEM" ADOPTED <br /> FEBRUARY 23rd, 1921; AND TO FURTHER AMEND SAID ORDINANCE BY THE AD- <br /> DITION OF SECTION 7 (af AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF <br /> ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, <br /> BOULDER COUNTY, COLORADO.: <br /> Section 1. That section 5 of the said Ordinance No. 128 is hereby <br /> amended td read as follows: <br /> Section 5. Inspection. Whenever in the judgement of the Water <br /> Commissioner, he deems it necessary, he may inspect the premises of <br /> any consumer of water from the Town water system for the purpose <br /> of examining the condition of all pipes, meters and water fixtures. <br /> He, shall be vigilant to detect and eliminate all abuses , whether from <br /> waste or other improper use of water. <br /> Section 2. That Rule 14 of Section 6 of the said Ordinance No. 128 <br /> is hereby anemded to read ' as follows: <br /> Rule ' 14. Any service may be metered when in the judgement of the <br /> Board of Trustees the same is necessary or beneficial. , For the <br /> purpose of bases for metering water services 'the following class- <br /> ifications of uses is hereby established: ( a) Domestic; (b) Industr- <br /> ial; (c ) Public; (d) Out of Town. <br /> Domestic uses shall include water used for all household purposes <br /> including sprinkling of lawns and watering of plants. <br /> Industrial uses shall include water used in and about all business <br /> places. <br /> Public uses shall include water used in and about public buildings, <br /> not including the Town itself. <br /> Out of Town uses shall include water taken from the town water system <br /> with the consent of the Town, by consumers whose premises are out- <br /> side of the corporate limits of the Town. <br /> The Board of Trustees may, by resolution, order the service of any <br /> consumer within any of the said classifications for which meter <br /> rates have been prescribed by this or any future ordinance , to be <br /> metered. Until meter rates for any of such classifications have <br /> been adopted by ordinance the flat rates provided by Section seven <br /> hereof, as amended, shall prevail. <ii-f roWn shall pay for and own <br /> all meters installed and same shall be installed in the most con- <br /> venient and accessible place on or off of the premises of the con- <br /> sumer whose service is metered. If any consumer shall refuse the <br /> reasonable and, necessary access of his premises for the purpose of <br /> installation- of a meter, when ordered by the Board of Trustees , or <br /> thereafter for the purpose of reading and inspecting such meter <br /> from time to time, his water service may be shut off until consent <br /> is given. <br />
