REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 20, 1979 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following Council members present: DiCarlo, Berry, Meier, Caranci, Kilker. Councilman DelPizzo arrived late - 8:30 P.M. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, Parks & Rec. Director Stahl, City Treasurer Hesson, andCity Clerk Stahl. APPROVAL OF MINUTES ENCLOSURERS COUNCIL ITEMS DRCOG REGIONAL HOUSING PLAN RESOLUTION #5 Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes of the February 6, 1979, meeting as presented. Councilman Caranci moved that en- closurers be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion Carried. Director of Community Development, Dennis Drumm, stated that the first letter the City sent to DRCOG was not in favor of the Regional Housing Plan, however, DRCOG has been in contact with the City and have discussed the items which there were problems with. He stated that the primary question was in relation to the Metropolitan Housing District and a Resolution has been drafted pertaining to this. He stated that under the plan the pro- posed houS'ing would come from the proposed annexation developments and there would also be rehab wo~k done and elderly housing projects. After discussion Mr. Drumm read Resolution #5, Series 1979. Councilman Berry requested that the wording in the Resolution stating that the City agrees to make any housing assistance plan required by the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, generally con- sistent with the Regional Housing Opportunity Plan be changed to include "consistent with the needs of the City of Louisville and..." With no other comments Councilman Meier moved that Resolution #5, Series 1979 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried by vote 4 - 1.
