RESOLUTION NO. 17 <br />SERIES 2023 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE <br />LOUISVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT'S USE OF THE MAIL BALLOT DROP- <br />OFF BOX AND SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM AT THE LOUISVILLE RECREATION & <br />SENIOR CENTER <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement, by and <br />among the City, the County of Boulder, and the Louisville Fire Protection District ("District"), <br />for the District's access to and use of the mail ballot drop-off box and surveillance system <br />at the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center in connection with District's May 2023 election <br />(the "Agreement"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by this Resolution desires to approve the Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The Intergovernmental Agreement, by and among the City, the County <br />of Boulder, and the Louisville Fire Protection District ("District"), for the District's access to <br />and use of the mail ballot drop-off box and surveillance system at the Louisville Recreation <br />& Senior Center in connection with District's May 2023 election, a copy of which Agreement <br />accompanies this Resolution, is hereby approved. <br />Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Agreement, and the <br />Mayor is hereby further authorized to negotiate and approve such revisions to the <br />Agreement as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the <br />City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the Agreement are not altered. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14t" day of March, 2023. <br />Dennis Maloney, Mayor <br />ATTEST- <br />Meredyt Muth, City C erk , <br />Resolution No. 17, Series 2023 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
