Regular Meeting Louisville City Council June 5, 1973 l'leeting was called to order by Hayor Caranci at 7: 30 Deborski, King, Jensen, Donovan, Scholl and Domenico were City Attorney Morris and City Treasurer Hesson. trator Wurl and City Clerk McNulty. p.m. with Councilmen present. Also present Absent - City Adminis- ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES CORRESPONDENCE RATIFY APPOINT- MENT JAMES BO\.-JER RTD BOARD DOG POUND AGREE- 11ENT WITH LAFAY- ETTE SEWER PLANT PENNER & DYE ESTIMATES PARKS & REC. BUILDING Councilman Deborski moved that the minutes be accepted as presented. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. All in favor. Motion carried. Councilman King moved that the correspondence be accepted and brought up under the proper heading of business. Seconded by Councilman Jensen. All in favor. Motion carried. City Engineer Dan White read letter from Boulder County Commissioners regarding reappointment of James Bower to RTD Board. Councilman Deborski moved that council ratify the reappointment of James Bower to the RTD Board as re- quested. Seconded by Councilman King. All in favor. Motion carried. Mayor Caranci instructed Deputy City Clerk to write letter of Council's motion. A discussion was held and Councilman Domenico recommended that item 8 in the agreement be clarified that the monthly fee be paid for dogs only picked up"from Louisville" be added, in essence to read "That Louisville agrees to pay monthly the actual sum per animal housed in the pound from Louisville that it costs Lafayette to operate and main- tain the pound. Councilman King moved that agreement be accepted as amended. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. Roll call vote Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen abstained, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. City Engineer White discussed estimates with Council and recommended payment. Councilman King moved that Penner Construction payment be made in the amount of $9,950.00 as per May estimate. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. Roll call vote - Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen yes, Dono- van yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. Councilman Deborski moved that Dye Construction be paid $46,964.61 on Sewer trunk line as per May estimate. Seconded by Councilman Donovan. Roll call vote - Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. Councilman Deborski lnoved that council ratify approval of the recreation building at Miner's Park. Seconded by Councilman King. All in favor. Motion carried.
