Also present <br />Absent - City Adminis- <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />RATIFY APPOINT- <br />MENT JAMES BO\.-JER <br />RTD BOARD <br /> <br />DOG POUND AGREE- <br />11ENT WITH LAFAY- <br />ETTE <br /> <br />SEWER PLANT <br />PENNER & DYE <br />ESTIMATES <br /> <br />PARKS & REC. <br />BUILDING <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski moved that the minutes be accepted as <br />presented. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman King moved that the correspondence be accepted <br />and brought up under the proper heading of business. Seconded <br />by Councilman Jensen. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Engineer Dan White read letter from Boulder County <br />Commissioners regarding reappointment of James Bower to <br />RTD Board. Councilman Deborski moved that council ratify <br />the reappointment of James Bower to the RTD Board as re- <br />quested. Seconded by Councilman King. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. Mayor Caranci instructed Deputy City Clerk <br />to write letter of Council's motion. <br /> <br />A discussion was held and Councilman Domenico recommended <br />that item 8 in the agreement be clarified that the monthly <br />fee be paid for dogs only picked up"from Louisville" be <br />added, in essence to read "That Louisville agrees to pay <br />monthly the actual sum per animal housed in the pound <br />from Louisville that it costs Lafayette to operate and main- <br />tain the pound. <br />Councilman King moved that agreement be accepted as amended. <br />Seconded by Councilman Deborski. Roll call vote Deborski <br />yes, King yes, Jensen abstained, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, <br />Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Engineer White discussed estimates with Council and <br />recommended payment. Councilman King moved that Penner <br />Construction payment be made in the amount of $9,950.00 <br />as per May estimate. Seconded by Councilman Deborski. <br />Roll call vote - Deborski yes, King yes, Jensen yes, Dono- <br />van yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Deborski moved that Dye Construction be paid <br />$46,964.61 on Sewer trunk line as per May estimate. Seconded <br />by Councilman Donovan. Roll call vote - Deborski yes, King <br />yes, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski lnoved that council ratify approval <br />of the recreation building at Miner's Park. Seconded by <br />Councilman King. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />
