City Treasurer <br />Hesson absent. <br /> <br />Minutes of April 3rd approved as presented. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE: Councilman King moved to accept correspondence and bring up <br />under proper heading of business. Seconded by Councilman <br />Donovan. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />LURA: <br /> <br />URBAN RENEHAL <br />APPOINTMENT: <br /> <br />COLORADO MUNI- <br />CIPAL LEAGUE <br />MEETING <br /> <br />CITIZENS <br />COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Lura Board requested the <br />program be held up until <br />Councilman Donovan moved <br />May 1, 1973 at 7:30 p.m. <br />by Councilman Domenico. <br /> <br />public hearing on two year action <br />the first meeting in May (May 1, 1973). <br />that public hearing be set for <br />in City Hall Chambers. Seconded <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci appointed Councilman Frank Domenico to serve <br />on the Urban Renewal Board. Councilman King moved to ratify <br />appointment of Councilman Frank Domenico to the Urban Re- <br />newal Board to serve out term of Virgil Donovan. Seconded <br />by Councilwoman Scholl. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator 1^Jurl advised Council of a legislative <br />briefing dinner meeting to be held Thursday evening, April <br />26th at 7:00 p.tu. at the Cosmopolitan Hotel relating to the <br />status of Municipal Legislation. Mayor Caranci requested <br />Councilmen Deborski and Jensen to attend. <br /> <br />ADVISORY Bi-laws as presented by Citizens Advisory Commitee were <br />approved by the Planning Commission. The Boulder Growth <br />Committee invited Council to attend their meeting to be <br />held, Wednesday.. April 25th. Adendums of comprehensive <br />plan were submitted in part to CAC by Dennis Drum. They <br />were reviewed by CAC members and were to have it back to <br />him at the end of this week. CAC members also reported <br />they have one application to fill the vacancies on the <br />Board. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT TO <br />LIBRARY BOARD <br /> <br />HIGHLANDER BOYS: <br /> <br />Correspondence from Library Board recommending the appoint- <br />ment of Mrs. Charles Hogg to the Library Board to finish <br />out term left vacant by Mrs. Dick. Councilman King moved <br />that Mrs. Charles Hogg be appointed to the Library Board <br />to complete the term of Mrs. Lanny Dick. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />After discussion regarding Highlander Boys bond sale, City <br />Attorney Morris was asked to prepare Resolution #9, Series <br />1973 declaring the month of Mayas Highlander Boys month <br />in Louisville, Colorado. Councilman Donovan moved that <br />Resolution #9, Series 1973 be adopted. Seconded by Council- <br />man King. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />
