The Housing Authority of the City of Louisville <br />will accomplish its mission through: community collaboration, effective services and <br />programs, professional organization, efficient resource management, and the expansion of <br />funding sources. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Callan Childs; Scott McKenzie; Terri Abbott, Steve Underhill <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: <br /> Rob Kelly <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br />Frank Alexander, Executive Director; Kay Bishop, Administrative Lead <br /> <br />Technician <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Bonnie Star, Economic Development Director for the City of Louisville; Walt <br /> <br />Oehlkers; Selena Jaramillo; Robert Pierce <br /> <br />Call to Order: <br />Meeting was called to order at 8:15 am by Callan Childs. <br /> <br />th <br />Approval of the Agenda: <br />May 26 agenda - Terri motions to approve the agenda. Scott <br />seconds. Approval of the agenda passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Approval of the May 26, 2009 Minutes: <br />Scott motions to approve. Terri seconds. Approval of <br />the minutes passed and approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Matters from Members of the Public**: <br />No matters from members of the public. <br /> <br />Director’s Report <br />Frank Alexander first addressed resident concerns from last month when several seniors were <br />present with issues to discuss. The issue of fire drills was addressed. BCHA is currently <br />working with Louisville Fire Department and Fire Department, coordinating a drill for sometime <br />next week which will include maintenance staff, property management staff, and residents. A <br />schedule will be set for once a year drills to coordinate with the once a year fire inspection. <br /> <br />The cleaning of the Community Room and the laundry room has been addressed and will be <br />monitored and inspected to ensure that a better job is being done in these areas. <br /> <br /> <br />
