CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />SEPTEMBER 1, 1987 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Alan Scarpella, <br />Bob Szymanski and Krohn Sackett (arrived late) <br />Staff present: Terry Hundley, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services <br />Rich Wanush, Director of Community Development <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci., Director of Financial Services <br />Also present: Pam Ferris, City C]_erk <br />William Hesson, TrE~asurer <br />Absent: Councilman Mike Mohr <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />AGENDA Mayor Fauson moved that the Agenda be amended to <br />include an Executive Session prior to taking action <br />on Item 4G. ScarpE~lla seconded. Unanimous. <br />APPROVAL OF THE <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent <br />Calendar. None. Mayor Fauson moved and it was <br />seconded to approvE~ the Consent Calendar as <br />submitted. Unanimous. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minute:> <br />Approval of Bills <br />Approval of Change Order #4 - Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant Project - Dougan Construction <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />ANNOUNCEMENT Mayor Fauson stated that the City of Louisville and <br />the Louisville Chamber of Commerce will jointly open <br />the 1987 Fall Festival on this Friday, Sept. 4th at <br />5:00 p.m. in front of City Hall. <br />BENITO'S RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE <br />PUBLIC HEARING Ferris explained that Mr. Samuel Espinoza is <br />applying for a restaurant liquor license for his new <br />restaurant, Benito:s to be located in the Spruce <br />Street Center, 950 Spruce Street. Mr. Espinoza has <br />been in the restaurant business in Denver for over <br />20 years, but this is the first liquor license he <br />has applied for. Mr. Espinoza circulated a petition <br />to "prove the need:a of the neighborhood" and <br />1 <br />
