Matt commented that other communities have successfully
organized volunteers for litter pickup days, and suggested we make
that a part of future Arbor Day activities. Tree preservation issues: Chris reported that Mike has called
Paul Wood, who said he may attend an HFAB meeting this fall.
Chris commented that working with the Planning Dept to protect trees
would probably be most effective, and suggested that developers
planning to build in the old town area should be required to submit a
tree preservation plan to the City for review.
