REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL_ JANUARY 3, 1984 <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met: in regular session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, :Louisville,. Colorado. Mayor Meier <br />called the meeting to order at 7:34 P.M. M.S.'I.'. There being present at the <br />call of the roll the following persons: <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: John Leary, Michael Cussen, Susan Morris, <br />Dennis Ferrera and Herman Fauson <br />ABSENT: Don Cummings <br />ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. Wurl, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />William Hesson, City Treasurer <br />John Rupp, Director of Community Development <br />August Hioco, Director of Community Services <br />Rod Lessman, Director of Public Safety <br />Karl Kasch, Director of Public Works <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci Director of Financial Services <br />Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk <br />COUNCILMEMBERS ELECT: Robert Woodson <br />Elizabeth Johnson <br />Richard Luce <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mayor and Councilmembers accepted the minutes <br />of t:he regular meeting of December 20, 1983 <br />as presented. <br />APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the agenda be approved as sub- <br />mitted. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF THE BILLS No bills. <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />SCRIPPS HOWARD - PUBLIC Mayor Meier requested that the persons who <br />MEETING signed up to speak on this issue be brief <br />and then would ask the representatives of <br />Scripps/Howard to reply to questions raised <br />by the local subscribers of Cable TV. <br />Robert Allen Vickery Inquired what the pricing is going to be - <br />666 W. Linden had called the office and was told $9.00 <br />for the premiums, but would not give the <br />prices for the package premiums. Wished <br />to know why they can't put premium channels, <br />HBO, Showtime, Cinemax on the lower channels <br />where they are now, or group them together <br />where they are - 18, 19, 20? Doing that <br />and. when you have a VCR and you are putting <br />them back up to the 40 50 range that ineffectively <br />
