REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL_ JANUARY 3, 1984 The City Council of the City of Louisville met: in regular session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, :Louisville,. Colorado. Mayor Meier called the meeting to order at 7:34 P.M. M.S.'I.'. There being present at the call of the roll the following persons: COUNCILMEMBERS: John Leary, Michael Cussen, Susan Morris, Dennis Ferrera and Herman Fauson ABSENT: Don Cummings ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. Wurl, City Administrator Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney William Hesson, City Treasurer John Rupp, Director of Community Development August Hioco, Director of Community Services Rod Lessman, Director of Public Safety Karl Kasch, Director of Public Works Sharon Asti-Caranci Director of Financial Services Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk COUNCILMEMBERS ELECT: Robert Woodson Elizabeth Johnson Richard Luce APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mayor and Councilmembers accepted the minutes of t:he regular meeting of December 20, 1983 as presented. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera seconded that the agenda be approved as sub- mitted. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. unanimously. APPROVAL OF THE BILLS No bills. COUNCIL ITEMS SCRIPPS HOWARD - PUBLIC Mayor Meier requested that the persons who MEETING signed up to speak on this issue be brief and then would ask the representatives of Scripps/Howard to reply to questions raised by the local subscribers of Cable TV. Robert Allen Vickery Inquired what the pricing is going to be - 666 W. Linden had called the office and was told $9.00 for the premiums, but would not give the prices for the package premiums. Wished to know why they can't put premium channels, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax on the lower channels where they are now, or group them together where they are - 18, 19, 20? Doing that and. when you have a VCR and you are putting them back up to the 40 50 range that ineffectively
