<br />Louisville Cultural Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />January 15, 2008 <br />Louisville Recreation Center <br />900 Via Appia <br /> <br />1- LCC President Julie Kovash called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />II - Andy Langford was assigned duties as recording secretary for this meeting. <br /> <br />III - Roll call: <br />Present: Julie Kovash, Jim Pollicita, Andy Langford, Lynn Wooten, Don <br />Atwood, Frost Yarnell, Julie Seydel, Kathy Martin, Rebecca Lasica, Farren <br />Wyner, Susan McNamara Goined a little late). <br />Absent: Maryan Jaross and Carol Cheh <br /> <br />IV - The advertised Agenda was approved on a motion by Don Atwood and second by <br />Julie Kovash, all present in favor. <br /> <br />V - The minutes of the last meeting were reviewed. Don A. noted that the New Arts <br />Center "rendering" should have said "designs". The minutes were then approved on the <br />motion of Don Atwood and a second by Lynn Wooten, all present in favor. <br /> <br />VI - President's Report: <br /> <br />Susan M. gave a status update on the SCFD report. Julie K. will take the lead on the <br />2009 grant application. Julie K. reminded every one that the Event Reports should be <br />submitted in a timely fashion and sent to all members as well as Tara. <br /> <br />It was noted that the LCC work session with Council is scheduled for April 14. The Arts <br />Center design team will have designs by May 3. We may try to postpone to the City <br />Council meeting on July 15. <br /> <br />VII - Election of Officers <br /> <br />Don A. motioned that Julie K. be reelected president. Jim P. second, all in favor. <br />Julie K. motioned that Maryan be reelected vice-president. Don A. second, all in favor. <br />Don A. motioned that Jim P. be reelected treasurer. Julie K. second, all in favor. <br />Don A. motioned that Rebecca L. be reelected secretary. Jim P. second, all in favor. <br /> <br />VIII - Treasurer's Report <br />Jim P. & Susan went over the 3rd quarter report with Tara Williams of Dollar-Sense. Jim <br />submitted a written report and said we might need to file a 990. Jim pointed out that our <br />bank balance of $17,223.12 includes the SCFD money for this year. He also suggested <br />
