<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JUNE 15, 1982 <br /> <br />he City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main St., Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Meier called <br />the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. M.D.S.T. There being present at the call <br />of the roll the following persons: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: John Leary, Michael Cussen, Susan Morris, <br />Dennis Ferrera, Don Cummings, and Herman Faus.on <br /> <br />ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. Wur1, City Administrator <br />Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br />William Hesson, City Treasurer <br />John Rupp, Director of Community Development <br />August Hioco, Director of Community Services <br />David Blanchard, City Engineer <br />Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br />Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk <br />Sharon Caranci, Chief Accountant <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mayor and Councilmembers approved the min- <br />utes of the regular meeting of June 1, 1982 <br />as presented. <br /> <br />ITEMS ENCLOSED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the items enclosed be accepted <br />and brought up under the proper head of busi- <br />ness. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />REQUEST TO ADD ITEM <br />SENIOR CITIZEN WATER REBATE <br /> <br />COMP PLAN AMENDMENTS - SET <br />DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Councilman Leary requested that the water <br />rate rebate to the senior citizens be added <br />to the agenda. Mayor Meier agreed to adding <br />this item under the City Administrator's <br />report. <br /> <br />Director Rupp stated Councilmembers were to <br />review the amendments as presented at the <br />last meeting. Councilwoman Morris had met <br />with him with her comments on revisions and <br />now requested further comments from the <br />Counci1members before the public hearing date <br />be set. Rupp suggested the date of July 6, <br />1982 be set for the public hearing. <br />Councilman Cussen did not feel he had ample <br />time to review the amendments thoroughly <br />and requested the public hearing be delayed. <br />Councilman Leary also felt he needed more <br />time to review the amendments and suggested <br />August 3, 1982 as the public hearing date. <br />An item that was not in the plan he felt <br />needed review was the extension of Pine St. <br />Director Rupp advised no definite plans have <br />been designed for Pine St. at the present time, <br />and assured Councilman Leary a public hearing <br />would be held if and when this becomes a reality. <br />
