<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />DECEHBER 1, 1981 <br /> <br />Hayor Pro-tern Fauson called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. M.S.T. with <br />the following Council members present: Fauson, DelPizzo, Meier and Brown. <br />Also present were: City Administrator ~vur1, City Attorney Rautenstraus, <br />City Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development Rupp, Director <br />of Cormnunity Services Hioco, Director of Public Safety Leesman, City <br />Engineer Blanchard, and Acting City Clerk Mudrock. Absent: Mayor <br />Caranci, Councilmen Cummings and Domenico, Chief Accountant Caranci. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-tern Fauson and council approved <br />the minutes of the regular meeting of <br />November 17, 1981 as presented. <br /> <br />ITEMS ENCLOSED <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the items <br />enclosed be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman Heier. All in favor. l'1otion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEl'1S <br />STORER CABLE T.V. UPDATE <br />JOE TENNESSEN <br /> <br />Mr. Joe Tennessen representative for <br />Storer Cable T.V. distributed phamp1ets <br />to all present and expressed his appreciation <br />for Council's cooperation and patience ex- <br />tended his firm. He advised that the under- <br />ground cable is now 85% to 90% complete, <br />with approximately 2 miles of cable yet to <br />be insta.11ed - time frame approximately <br />ten days. There had been a problem getting <br />the power lines in - the inspector requested <br />additional requirements that have now been <br />met. The overhead cable is being installed <br />and should be completed in approximately <br />2 weeks. Their building in the industrial <br />park will be complete this week, and they <br />had a special dish manufactured to give <br />a low noise imput and sharper pictures. <br />The parking lot has been paved and striped <br />and the fence installed. Also the system <br />does have stand-by electricity both at the <br />site and thru the system. There is still <br />some work to be done on the street improvements <br />and drainage work at the site - cost $36,000, <br />$26,000 can be recovered as other businesses <br />move into the area. <br />Cards will be sent to all residents when they <br />can hook onto the system and a sales represen- <br />tative will be calling. Hook-ups will begin <br />December 14, 1981 with a 3 man crew. <br />
