<br />llliGULAR f1EETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 15, 1981 <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. M.D.S.T. with the <br />following Council members present: Fauson, Cummings, DelPizzo, Brown, <br />Meier, and Domenico. Also present were: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Attorney Rautenstraus, Director of Cormnunity Development Rupp, Police <br />Chief Leesman, Director of Community Ser1rices Hioco, Chief Accountant <br />Caranci, City Engineer Blanchard, City Treasurer Hesson, and Acting City <br />Clerk Mudrock. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Hayor Caranci and council approved the <br />minutes of the regular meeting of Sep- <br />tember 1, 1981 as presented. <br /> <br />ITEHS ENCLOSED <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the items <br />enclosed be accepted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman Heier. All in favor. Hotion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEl1S <br />JANDREAU REQUEST - TEMPORARY <br />USE PEID1IT - SET DATE FOR <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Jandreau <br />request for a temporary use permit be pub- <br />lised and the public hearing be set for <br />October 6, 1981. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />WATER BROKERS - WATER CONTRACT <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Hayor <br />and Clerk be authorized to sign the water <br />contract for 8 shares of Leyner Cottonwood <br />and 1 share of Marshall water. Seconded by <br />Councilman l"leier. Question called for. All <br />in favor.. Hotion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />John Littlejohn, 901 Garfield a member of <br />the Louisville Fire Protection District <br />presented the Mayor and members of Council <br />with a fact sheet regarding the upcoming <br />Bond Election to be held September 22, 1981. <br />He stated that the volunteer members of <br />the district requested that City Council <br />pass a resolution supporting their bond <br />election. He stressed the dire need of <br />the funds to be realized from the bond <br />because of the growth of the City as well <br />as growth within the district. <br />Stated that he had worked with the members <br />of the Louisville Fire Protection volunteers <br />and moved that a resolution be adopted to <br />support the bond election.
