REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JANUARY 20, 1981 Mayor Caranci called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow- ing Council members present: Fauson, Cummings, DelPizzo, Carnival, Meier and Domenico. Also present were City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Director of Community Development Rupp, Police Chief Leesman, Director of Parks and Rec. Hioco, City Engineer Blanchard, and City Clerk Stahl. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES COUNCIL ITEMS LIBRARY BOARD - 2 APPOINTMENTS Mayor Caranei and Council approved the minutes of January 6, 1981 as presented. All members of Council had copies of letters froTI~ people who had applied. Mayor Caranei inquired if Council wished to have a SE~cret ballot or appoint two members. LE~tters were received from Barbara McKee of 1045 LaFarge Ave. Carolyn Conarroe, 1131 Jefferson Ave. and Joseph D. McInerney, 238 Monarch. Councilman Carnival moved that Sandra Richmond be reappointed to the Library Board for a 5-year term. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. SANDRA RICHMOND - REAPPOINT- MENT BARBARA MCKEE - APPOINTMENT- Councilman DelPizzo moved that Barbara Mc- Kee be appointed to the Library Board to fill the unexpired term of Janine Randall to expire in - January 1985. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Councilman Fauson moved that Carolyn Conarroe be appointed to the Library Board. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. At this time Mayor Caranci requested a secret ballot be taken. Councilman Domenico requested that when appointments are made to various boards he would like to have the applicants present. City Clerk Stahl read the secret ballot 4 votes Ba.rbara McKee 2 votes Ca.rolyn Connaroe Barbara McKee appointed to the Library Board.
