<br />RESCHEDULED MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 1978 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the rescheduled meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with <br />the following members present: Councilman DiCarlo, Meier, Caranci, <br />Kilker and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City Clerk Stahl. Absent: City <br />Treasurer Hesson. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />ELECTION OF NEW COUNCIL <br />MEMBERS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 28 <br />CENTENNIAL COMMENDATION <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the September 5, 1978, meeting <br />as presented. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that enclosurers <br />be accepted and brought up under the pro- <br />per head of business. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Caranci. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that four letters were <br />received. Charles Hogg, Howard Berry, <br />Ben Sumrnerset and Shirley Spicer. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that Mrs. Spicer was not in <br />the proper ward and therefore not eligible. <br /> <br />Secret ballot was used in selecting the <br />replacement with the following tally of <br />votes cast. <br /> <br />HOWARD BERRY - 3 <br /> <br />CHARLES HOGG - 1 <br /> <br />BEN SUMMERSET - 1 <br />A total of 5 votes were cast with Howard <br />Berry be selected as the new Councilman. <br />He will take office at the October 3, 1978 <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the resolution commending the <br />Centennial steering committee. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Resolution <br />No. 28 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br />Plaques were presented to: Lawrence Enrietto, <br />Suzy Westbrook, Eugene Caranci. Larry Maretlla <br />was not able to attend. <br />
