<br />RESCHEDULED MEETING <br /> <br />l~ <br /> <br />r-, <br />,-"""I i 1 <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JULY 12, 1978 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order with the following Council members present: <br />DiCarlo, Meier, Caranci, Kilker and DelPizzo. Councilman DiLorenzo absent. Others <br />present were Administrator Leon Wurl, Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer <br />Hesson and Deputy City Clerk Mudrock. <br /> <br />1. ORDINANCE #594 ENERGY <br />STANDARDS, SECOND READING, <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved Rescheduled <br />Meeting of July 13, 1978 as read. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the enclosures be brought <br />up under the proper head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Howard Pollock, Chief of Louisville Volunteer Fire <br />Department thanked City Council and staff for the help <br />they received for Fire District election and appreciated <br />all the_ehlp they received. Also thanks to City Adminis- <br />trator Wurl and the City street crews for help extended <br />preparing for Northern Field Day which was a great <br />success. Nancy Varra and Cleo Mudrock helped with some <br />important items for that day. Mr. Pollock asked if <br />there is anything in process for a medical facility <br />for Louisville, or is there some approach Fire Dept. <br />can take to entice a Doctor into town. Attorney Joss <br />stated he too is interested in this, and perhaps if <br />letters were sent to Medical schools so they are made <br />aware of the need it would be helpful. Wurl stated <br />that some type of building is necessary before a Doctor <br />will commit himself. <br /> <br />Motion by DiCarlo that Council accept the report and <br />place on file. Seconded by Meier. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />This ordinance adopts mlnlmum standards for energy <br />efficiency for non-residence buildings. Presented by <br />Title only before opening the Public Hearing. #594 is <br />minimum requirements for the design of new non-residential <br />buildings and structures and renovation of non-residential <br />buildings resulting in a 50% increase in replacement <br />value of such structure, adopting by reference Colo. <br />Engery Efficiency construction and renovation standards <br />for non-residential buildings.
