REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 4, 1977 Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order with the following Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, Dhieux and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Councilman Dhieux corrected the minutes on the public hearing date for the budget. The minutes read public hearing set for October 4, 1977; correction public hearing set for October 18, 1977. With the correc- tion Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes. ENCLOSURERS Councilman Caranci moved that the en- closurers be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Se- conded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS KENNETH DUKES CONSTRUCTION PAY EST. 412 SEWER PLANT Councilman DiLorenzo moved that Council approve Pay Estimate #2 in the amount of $35,957.08 to Kenneth Dukes Construction. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. ORDINANCE 11567 CATS - SECOND READING PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Joss read Ordinance #567 on se- cond reading by title only stating that all proper notices had been published. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing asking for those in favor of the ordinance. Charlie Jones 1611 Garfield Ave. and apartment manager stated that he was in favor of the ordinance for the control of cats along with Peggy Nielsen 117 Barbara St, Jewell Coet 1603 Jefferson St., Mildred Quesenberry 1608 Garfield Ave, apartment manager, Dick Skelton 2373 McKinley Ave and Millie Idson 1606 Garfield. Included in the comments in favor of the ordinance was the suggestion of ear tatooing expandable collars and the concern of having their cats identified so they would be returned to the owner.
