<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 4, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order with the following Council <br />members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, Dhieux and <br />DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, <br />City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Councilman Dhieux corrected the minutes <br />on the public hearing date for the budget. <br />The minutes read public hearing set for <br />October 4, 1977; correction public hearing <br />set for October 18, 1977. With the correc- <br />tion Mayor Waschak and Council approved <br />the minutes. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the en- <br />closurers be accepted and brought up <br />under the proper head of business. Se- <br />conded by Councilman DiLorenzo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />KENNETH DUKES CONSTRUCTION <br />PAY EST. 412 SEWER PLANT <br /> <br />Councilman DiLorenzo moved that Council <br />approve Pay Estimate #2 in the amount of <br />$35,957.08 to Kenneth Dukes Construction. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. <br />Domenico yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 11567 <br />CATS - SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance #567 on se- <br />cond reading by title only stating that <br />all proper notices had been published. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing <br />asking for those in favor of the ordinance. <br />Charlie Jones 1611 Garfield Ave. and <br />apartment manager stated that he was in <br />favor of the ordinance for the control of <br />cats along with Peggy Nielsen 117 Barbara <br />St, Jewell Coet 1603 Jefferson St., <br />Mildred Quesenberry 1608 Garfield Ave, <br />apartment manager, Dick Skelton 2373 <br />McKinley Ave and Millie Idson 1606 Garfield. <br />Included in the comments in favor of the <br />ordinance was the suggestion of ear tatooing <br />expandable collars and the concern of having <br />their cats identified so they would be <br />returned to the owner. <br />
