<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />AUGUST 18, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the <br />following council members present: DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo and <br />DelPizzo. Absent: Councilman Domenico. Others present: City Ad- <br />ministrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City <br />Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo requested that the <br />record reflect that he voted "NO" on <br />the C. D. Audit, changing auditors from <br />Alexander Grant & Co. to Fortner Hauber <br />& Co. <br />With the addition, Council approved the <br />minutes. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />SWEARING IN CEREMONY <br />VIVIAN DHIEUX <br /> <br />City Clerk Santilli swore in the new <br />councilman, Vivian Dhieux, who will be <br />replacing Councilman McDonald in Ward II <br />for the remainder of the term. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ff6 <br />CERTIFICATION & PLAQUE <br />OF APPRECIATION TO <br />BARBARA MC DONALD <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Resolution #6 thanking <br />Councilman McDonald for her services <br />while serving on City Council. A cer- <br />tificate of appreciation and plaque were <br />presented to Mrs. McDonald. <br /> <br />JAYCEES LIQUOR <br />LICENSE <br /> <br />Attorney Joss noted that all was in order <br />and proper notifications were made. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comments for or against <br />the license request. The public hearing <br />was closed. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Jaycees <br />be granted permission to have their liquor <br />license from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll <br />call. DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo <br />yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieuxabstained. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />KGNU INFORMATION <br /> <br />Glen Gerberg was not in attendnance to <br />discuss the matter. <br />Mr. Wurl reported to Council that he did <br />have a discussion by phone Monday, with <br />the Sheriff department, who stated that <br />they have worked out an agreement with <br />Gerberg to utilize a part of th tower <br />as requested by Council. Mr. Gerberg <br />was to bring in a copy of the agreement, <br />but he has not arrived. <br />
