REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 18, 1977 Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following council members present: DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo and DelPizzo. Absent: Councilman Domenico. Others present: City Ad- ministrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Councilman DiCarlo requested that the record reflect that he voted "NO" on the C. D. Audit, changing auditors from Alexander Grant & Co. to Fortner Hauber & Co. With the addition, Council approved the minutes. COUNCIL ITEMS SWEARING IN CEREMONY VIVIAN DHIEUX City Clerk Santilli swore in the new councilman, Vivian Dhieux, who will be replacing Councilman McDonald in Ward II for the remainder of the term. RESOLUTION ff6 CERTIFICATION & PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION TO BARBARA MC DONALD Mr. Wurl read Resolution #6 thanking Councilman McDonald for her services while serving on City Council. A cer- tificate of appreciation and plaque were presented to Mrs. McDonald. JAYCEES LIQUOR LICENSE Attorney Joss noted that all was in order and proper notifications were made. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. There were no comments for or against the license request. The public hearing was closed. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Jaycees be granted permission to have their liquor license from Sept. 2 to Sept. 5. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Dhieuxabstained. Motion carried. KGNU INFORMATION Glen Gerberg was not in attendnance to discuss the matter. Mr. Wurl reported to Council that he did have a discussion by phone Monday, with the Sheriff department, who stated that they have worked out an agreement with Gerberg to utilize a part of th tower as requested by Council. Mr. Gerberg was to bring in a copy of the agreement, but he has not arrived.
