<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE Crry COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAY 17, 1977 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with <br />the following Councilmembers present: Caranci, DiCarlo, McDonald, <br />and DelPizzo. Councilman Domenico arrived at 7:40 P.M. Absent: <br />City Treasurer Hesson and Councilman DiLorenzo. Others present: <br />City Administrator Wurl, City Engineer White, City Planner Drumm and <br />City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the May 3, 1977, council <br />meeting as presented. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />It was noted that there were four persons <br />applying for the vacancy of the Planning <br />Commission board: Mae Toledo, Jennifer <br />Kissel, Dianne Kedro and Bob Connors. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Bob Connors <br />be appointed to fill the vacancy made by <br />Jake Thomas on the Board. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Counci~man DelPizzo stated that he felt <br />the entire council should be in attendance <br />to vote. With no other comments roll call <br />was taken: Caranci yes, McDonald yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />-Councilman Domenico now in attendance. <br /> <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />FIRE DISTRICT REVIEW <br /> <br />Thomas Poydock, Fire Chief, reviewed the <br />proposed boundaries of their fire district <br />stating the areas included are already <br />areas that the fire department services <br />when necessary. Shannon Estates is also <br />included as it was approximately 70% of <br />the homeowners request that they be in- <br />cluded in the Louisville Fire District area. <br />The area did not include Superior as they <br />have their own department. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the dis- <br />trict should cover through the Davidson <br />Mesa instead of only a part of it. <br />Mr. Poydock stated that the entire pro- <br />posed area is within the City Comprehensive <br />Plan and that the area on the Davidson <br />Mesa is divided at the passing line on <br />South 80th. <br />After discussion Mr. Poydock asked about <br />the sales of the fire equipment which the <br />City now has. <br />
