REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JULY 2, 1974 Mayor Pro-tern Berry called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. with the following Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Scholl, Dhieux, DelPizzo. Others present: City Clerk Santilli, City Treasurer Hesson. Absent: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Morris, Mayor Waschak, and Councilman DiCarlo. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Councilwoman Dhieux moved that the minutes be accepted as read. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE Councilwoman Scholl moved that corres- pondence be accepted and brought up under proper heading. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS KEITH HELART SWIMMING POOL PASSES Keith Helart reported that free passes to the pool were restricted to personal passes to the people who worked hard to make the swimming pool a reality. The members of the Park and Rec Board were issued family passes. Council- man DelPizzo stated that other com- mittees were not happy with the granting of passes to certain Boards. Mr. Helart remarked that passes were issued to the Boards which played a vital part in getting the pool started. He also said that if Council wishes passes to be issued the Board will do so, or rescinded. There were about 9 passes issued and the passes will not be issued again as this was a thank-you to the people who worked on the pool. Mr. Helart reported that the pool was grossing an estimated $500.00 a week. Councilwoman Scholl questioned the chlorine problem which was stated in the Park & Rec minutes. Mr. Helart said the problem was taken care of. Councilman DelPizzo asked Mr. Helart about the sprinkling system on the North side of the swimming pool. Mr. Helart stated there was a water line ready to be hooked up to water the grass on the North side of the fence and in doing so it will water a portion of the convents lawn. He stated that he has spoken with Father Casey about the situation.
