<br />-'~;~lar Meeting <br /> <br />Louisville City Council <br /> <br />March 6, 1973 <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Mayor Caranci at 7:30 p.m. with Councilmen Deborski, <br />King, Jensen, Donovan, Scholl, Domenico, City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney <br />Morris, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk McNulty. <br /> <br />Minutes of February 20th approved as presented. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />CENTRAL BUSI- <br />NESS DISTRICT <br />ANALYSIS <br /> <br />FRITTS REQUEST <br /> <br />URBAN RENEWAL <br /> <br />FIRE TRUCK & <br />DUMP TRUCK <br /> <br />PEST CONTROL <br /> <br />WATER RESTRI- <br />CTIONS <br /> <br />NEW LAWN PER- <br />MITS <br /> <br />';OUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Correspondence noted and placed under proper heading. <br /> <br />Paul Dupler representing the Community of Commerce, requested that <br />the Council fund the cost of the Central Business District study. <br />The program would cost a total of $4,700.00 and would include a <br />site analysis, conceptual design, development plan and functional <br />work. Oblinger & Smith will do the studies as outlined in the <br />4 steps. Council stated the commitment for $4,700.00 would be <br />contingent on the hudget. Councilman Jensen moved that we go <br />along with the Comnunity of Commerce in the funding of the pro- <br />posed study. Seconded hy Councilman Donovan. Roll call vote <br />5 yes votes, Councilman Deborski casting a no vote. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Fritts request sent to Planning & Zoning Commission for review. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Davis, Director of Urban Renewal explained the second year <br />action plan which included the purchase of half a block in the <br />downtown area for parking. They will be seeking $210,000 for next <br />year's funding. Plans include replacement of two feeder water <br />lines on Pine and Hutchinson Streets. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl submitted comparitive quotes on the leas- <br />ing of the Fire Truck and the Dump Truck and recommended we accept <br />the low bid of First Municipal Leasing Corp. <br />$1,609.03 per month for a three- year lease <br />$1,272.88 per month for a four-year lease - FIRE TRUCK <br />$1,073.33 per month for a five-year lease <br /> <br />$199.38 per month for a three-year lease - DUMP TRUCK <br />Councilman King moved that Council lease fire truck and dump <br />truck from First Municipal Leasing Corporation. Seconded by <br />Councilman Jensen. Roll call vote - all in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl to report on March 20th. <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski moved that Council remove all water restric- <br />tions as soon as the new water line is replaced across the Baptist <br />Church property. Seconded by Councilman Jensen. All in favor. <br />Motion carri(!d. <br /> <br />Council decided it is not necessary to obtain permits to water <br />new lawns. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl requested to check Warembourg ditch and <br />RR crossing signs on Griffith St. <br />
