<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> February 7,2006 <br /> Page 14 of 18 <br />City Attorney Light explained the provisions on the bottom of Page 5, and into <br />Page 6, of the ordinance, provide the avenues of last resort, including <br />procedures as to notice and billing the property owner. <br />City Forester Lichty noted this is not a change from the current regulations. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown complimented the Land Management Staff, for protecting <br />the City's investment. <br />Teresa Rounds, 315 S. McKinley Court, Louisville, CO stated her understanding <br />the City does not provide financial assistance for tree removal and suggested <br />funds be set aside for such purposes. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown closed the public hearing. <br />Council member Clabots recognized and thanked City Forester Chris Lichty and <br />the Horticulture & Forestry Board. <br />MOTION: Council member Sackett moved to approve Ordinance No. 1484, <br />Series 2006, seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. <br />The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown called for a 10-minutes recess at 11 :00 p.m. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown reconvened the meeting at 11 :10 p.m. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1456, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING <br />PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE HOYLE PROPERTY - 2nd reading - public <br />heari n9 (advertised Daily Camera 9/25/04, 2/27/05, 3/17/05 & 11/26/05) - <br />continued from 10/19/04 & 2/1/05,3/17/05,5/17/05,7/19105,10/4/05 & 12/6/05 <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004. He explained the <br />public hearing on Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004 has been continued several <br />time at by City Council at the request of the applicant. Staff received <br />correspondence from Mr. Lopez, representing the Hoyle Family Trust, on <br />February 3,2006 requesting a continuance to March 7, 2006. He explained Mr. <br />Lopez has been negotiating with Boulder County to amend the Northwest <br />Parkway IGA to permit a change in zoning. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown requested public comment. There were no comments. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved to continue Ordinance No. 1456, Series <br />2004, to March 7, 2006, seconded by Council member Marsella. All in favor. <br />
