Planning Director Wood stated in accordance to the Colorado State Statutes. Mayor Sisk noted the applicant does not live on the property. Planning Director Wood confirmed the applicant does not reside on the property, but is planning to renovate the home. Mayor Sisk requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public hearing. MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved for the approval of Ordinance No. 1485, Series 2006, seconded by Council member Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0. ORDINANCE No. 1486, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.32 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCREASE THE SALARY OF THE PRESIDING MUNICIPAL JUDGE - 2nd reading - public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 2/11/06) Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1486, Series 2006. Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. Deputy City Manager Boyd explained Municipal Judge, Bruce Joss was appointed to office in January, 2002, and was paid a salary of $1 ,400/month. He was reappointed in 2004 and the salary was increased to $1 ,500/month. Approval of Ordinance No. 1486, Series 2006 would increase the judge's salary to $1 ,550/month in 2006 and to $1 ,600/month in 2007. Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested public comment, and hearing none, closed the public hearing. MOTION: Council member Marsella moved for approval of Ordinance No. 1486, Series 2006, seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0.
