<br /> City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> February 21, 2006 <br /> Page 7 of 13 <br /> Denise Erhmann, 221 Front Street, Louisville, CO stated their request was for a <br /> 4-foot chain link fence, but the City added a provision of the 6-foot fence. She <br /> noted her home is 100 years old and she had no intention of enlarging it. She <br /> explained she would purchase the plaque in memory of her grandparents. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved for approval of Resolution No.6, Series 2006, with <br /> the provision the fencing could not exceed 4-feet, and the quit claim deed confine <br /> the properties to their present size. Mayor Pro Tem Brown seconded the motion. <br /> Council member Muckle asked for clarification on the status of the resolution and <br /> ordinance. City Attorney Light explained the resolution would approve the <br /> settlement agreement. The ordinance would be brought back, for second <br /> reading, with the requested revisions, providing the counter proposal is <br /> acceptable to the Sawyers and the Ehrmanns. <br /> VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1487, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE <br /> VACATION OF PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH FRONT STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY <br /> LOCATED BETWEEN LOTS 16 AND 17, BLOCK 8 AND LOTS 10 AND 11, <br /> BLOCK 9 IN THE MURPHY PLACE SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEEDS IN <br /> CONNECTION WITH SUCH VACATION, AND APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT OF EASEMENTS AND <br /> AGREEMENT FOR TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY OF THAT PORTION OF <br /> SUCH RIGHT-OF-WAY NOT SUBJECT TO VACATION _1ST READING - SET <br /> PUBLIC HEARING 3/7/06 <br /> MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Brown moved that Ordinance No. 1487, Series 2006 <br /> be sent out for publication and a public hearing be set for March 7, 2006, <br /> seconded by Council member Sackett. All in favor. <br /> ORDINANCE No. 1488, SERIES 2006 - AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A NON- <br /> EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE BY THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE TO COMCAsT OF <br /> COLORADO I, LLC AND ITS LAWFUL SUCCESSORS, TRANSFEREES AND <br /> ASSIGNS, FOR THE RIGHT TO MAKE REASONABLE AND LAWFUL USE OF <br /> RIGHTS-OF-WAY WITHIN THE CITY TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE, <br /> MAINTAIN, RECONSTRUCT, REPAIR AND UPGRADE A CABLE SYSTEM <br /> FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING CABLE SERVICES TO CITIZENS <br /> WITHIN THE CITY - 1st reading - set public hearing 3/07/06 <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1488, Series 2006. <br />
