AEC will also submit a proposal <br /> to provide services for the City Hall renovation project. <br /> Staff recommended approval of contract of the Building Commissioning Services <br /> with Architectural Energy Corporation, to be billed on a time and materials basis <br /> in an amount not to exceed $16,718, and authorize the Mayor to sign the <br /> contract documents. <br /> Mayor Sisk requested public comment. There were no comments. <br /> MOTION: Council member Muckle moved to award Contract to Architectural <br /> Energy Corporation for Building Commissioning Services for the new library, <br /> seconded by Council member Clabots. Roll call vote was taken. The motion <br /> passed by a vote of 6-0. Absent - Mayor Pro Tern Brown. <br /> City Manager Simmons addressed the building maintenance of the City's <br /> facilities and their sophisticated mechanical systems. He felt the maintenance of <br /> these facilities should be discussed during the 2007 budget process. <br /> APPROVE CONTRIBUTIONS OF IN-KIND SERVICES FOR CTC CORPORATE <br /> CHALLENGE <br /> Mayor Sisk reported at the April 3, Finance Committee meeting, Mr. Steve <br /> Costello, a Louisville resident, requested discussion on the contributions of in- <br /> kind services for CTC Corporate Challenge. Mayor Sisk noted this is a private <br /> event and the City would not be providing a monetary contribution. He asked <br /> Deputy City Manager Boyd to provide Council with a breakdown of the City's cost <br /> for the requested in-kind service contributions. <br /> Deputy City Manager Boyd outlined the City's in-kind services cost as follows: <br /> Public Works Department - $500.00 for trash collection, street sweeping, and <br /> placement of barricades; Police Department - $315.00 for the cost for 3 police <br /> officers; and a Special Events Liquor License Fee - $10.00. They also <br /> requested a link on the City's Web Page, and placement of promotional materials <br /> on City publications. She noted the City does not advertise for profit events. <br /> Stephen Meyers, Meyers & Associates, 2051 Dogwood Street, Louisville, CO <br /> stated he is the Event Director for the CTC Corporate Challenge 5K Race. He <br /> explained this event is not for profit and any profits would be donated to Monarch <br /> High School and to charity. The event is to promote the business community. <br /> Mayor Sisk requested public comment. There were no comments. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENT <br />
