This can cause buildup and add
excess nutrients to our local streams and lakes, which can
be harmful to fish and wildlife. Residents can bring leaves
to the Leaf Drop-off Site at the Louisville Sports Complex
(1200 Courtesy Road) from October 20 through November
23. During that time, the site will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3
p.m., seven days a week. You can also dispose of leaves in
your Republic Services compost bin.
Community Development updates
REDTAIL RIDGE
Staff continues to review Planned Unit Development (PUD)
applications submitted by developer Sterling Bay for the
first phases of development on two of Redtail Ridge's
development parcels. Utility
installations (sanitary sewer, force main, water main and
storm sewer) could begin in the next quarter.
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The Community Development Department continues to
advance the Comprehensive Plan towards adoption, now
planned for early 2026.
