anecdotal evidence all indicate that 1016 Main was constructed from a Sears and Roebuck kit. A FA' T-r <br />1CA b I" <br />1 <br />Ashe Family Ownership, 1910-1938 <br />In 1910, the Fearn family moved to Nebraska and sold 1016 Main to their next -door neighbor, Mary <br />Quillian Ashe (1882-1934). Mary Quillian was born in Colorado in 1882. Her parents came to Colorado in <br />1869 and her father, Asbury H. Quillian was a Protestant minister who travelled throughout Colorado. In <br />1906, Mary married Thomas Gregory Ashe (1875-1969). Thomas Ashe was of Irish descent and was a <br />farmer in Iowa before coming to Colorado. By 1910, Mary and Thomas were renting a house on Main <br />Street and Thomas was working as the superintendent of the Lucas mine near Broomfield.
