5.04.070 Duties of License Officer A. The City License Officer shall collect all license fees and issue licenses in the name of the City to all persons qualified under the provisions of this chapter, and shall: l. Promulgate and enforce all reasonable rules and regulations necessary to the operation and enforcement of this chapter; 2. Adopt all fo rms and prescribe the information to be given in such forms as to character and other relevant matters; 3. Require applicants to submit all affidavits and oaths necessary to the administration of this chapter; 4. Submit all applications, in a proper case, to interested city officials for their endorsements on such applications as to compliance by the applicant with all city regulations which such officials have the duty of enforcing; 5. Investigate and determine the eligibility of any applicant for a license; 6. Notify any applicant of the acceptance or rejection of his application, and, upon refusal of any license or permit, at the applicant's request, shall state in writing the reasons for such refusal and deliver them to the applicant. 5.04.080 Fee - Designated - Term A. The license fee for a business license shall be the sum of $10.00 annually, and shall be paid to the City Clerk on or before February 1st, of each and every year. B. The license required by this chapter is for the privilege or pursuing a business, profession, vocation, or occupation designated thereon until the next succeeding December 31st, at the end of the calendar year. 5.04.090 Required Place for Each Business A separate license must be obtained for each branch, establishment, or separate place of business in which the business lS carried on, without payment of any additional fee.
