<br /> the licensee to contract for and to do the necessary demolition or <br /> wrecking work in connection with the work specified in this sub- <br /> section. <br /> 5.16.060 Public Hearing - Issuance <br /> A. The City Council shall conduct a public hearing on <br /> each license application received as set forth in this section. <br /> The City Council shall enter a finding when issuing a license that <br /> each applicant has met the following standards: <br /> l. That each individual to be associated with the Applicant <br /> is of good character; <br /> 2. That each massage parlor or establishment conforms to <br /> all zoning regulations and restrictions to the standards of the <br /> building code, adopted in Title 15; and further; <br /> 3. That other existing licensees relative to the <br /> particular locality in issue are inadequate for the reasonable <br /> needs for the neighborhood. <br /> B. Upon instructions from the City Council, the City <br /> Clerk shall issue the proper license to the applicant for a term <br /> of one year. The City Council may waive the requirement of the <br /> public hearing for an application for a license of a massage therapist <br /> if the City Council is satisfied that such applicant conforms to all <br /> requirements of this chapter and no need exists for a public hearing <br /> thereon. <br /> 5.16.070 Display of License <br /> A. Every person, association, partnership, firm or <br /> corporation to whom or for which the license has been granted shall <br /> display said license in a conspicuous place so that the same may be <br /> readily seen by any person entering the premises where the massage <br /> treatment is given. <br /> B. Each applicant, licensee, or agent or employee of said <br /> applicant shall obtain an identity card from the Director of Public <br /> Safety and shall carry said identity card at all times while in or <br /> upon the licensed premises. <br /> 5.16.110 (B) <br /> Upon the sale or transfer of any ownership interest in a <br /> massage parlor or establishment, the existing license shall expire. <br /> -12- <br />
