UD-I Planned Industrial District over I Districts; <br /> 17. 8.040 PUD-R Planned Residential Districts <br /> Unde this title, any residential property developed which lS <br />40 acres or mo e, must be developed as a PUD-R Planned Residential <br />District. Wit the PUD-R District, the following uses and densities <br />will be permit ed subject to the approval of the City Council: <br /> (A) Uses permitted by right or permitted by special review <br />in the underly ng residential district or districts shall be permitted. <br /> (B) Commercial uses shall be permitted in the PUD-R district <br />if the planned unit development contains six hundred or more dwelling <br />units. Such c mmercial centers shall be subject to the following require- <br />ments: <br /> l. uch centers, including parking, shall be included <br /> as a integral part of the PUD and shall not occupy more <br /> than one and one-half percent of the total area of the <br /> PUD. Commercial uses in anyone development stage shall <br /> not e open to use prior to the completion of fifty percent <br /> of t e dwelling uni its in that stage and the issuance of <br /> the ertificates of occupancy for that fifty percent. <br /> 2. as stated in Section 17.28.020, all requirements <br /> appl'cable to the C-N district are applicable to the <br /> rcial center in the PUD-R district. <br /> 3. uch commercial centers shall be limited to categories <br /> reas nably necessary to efficiently serve residents of the <br /> plan ed unit development in which it is located. <br /> CC) If the amount of land to be dedicated exceeds the public <br />use dedication requirements stipulated in Title 16, Section 16.16.060 of <br />the Louisville municipal Code I' the amount of land in excess shall be <br />included in th gross residential acreage; <br /> (D) Provision for low and moderate income housing may be <br />required in al residential planned unit developments. If required, the <br />number of law nd moderate income units shall be determined by the <br />City Council i accordance with current City policies. <br /> (E) The Planned Unit Development Plan may encompass only one <br />zoning distric for a PUD-R unless the total acreage under the Planned <br />Unit Developme t Plan exceeds five acres. <br /> -2- <br />
