None. <br />V.Meeting as Advisory Board for the City of Louisville <br />Approval of April 20, 2011 Minutes <br />A.–postponed to June meeting <br />Report from the Director of Library and Museum Services: <br />B. <br />1.BethBarrettreported that the book chosen forOn the Same Pagewill be <br />announced in a press conference onJune 8, 2011.Commission members are <br />invited to attend. <br />2.The Louisville Library has been chosen by the Boulder-Based Space Science <br />Institute to be the beta site for amuseum quality exhibiton climate called Discover <br />Earth.The Institute will collaborate with Louisville to create a module about historic <br />local weather and will be solicitingcommunity participationparticularly from long- <br />term members of the community who may have personal recollection of major <br />weather events in the past. Both Dave Fergusonand Pat Seader stated that they <br />have memories of majorsnowfall years from the past. <br />3.As input to the 2012 capital project improvements budget,Beth submitted a <br />budget requestfor a Historical Museum Collection Archivebuilding to go on the <br />campus between the Jacoe Store and the Tomeo House. A collection archive <br />would create needed storage space for the Museum’s collectionand make it <br />possible for the Jordinelli House to be openedtothe public for exhibition space. <br />The total requested was $486K over 5 years, with 8% of that amount to be spent <br />on planning in 2013. <br />4.The City is moving forward with funding and creating a new sign for the Museum <br />that will bein keeping withother City signs. <br />Museum Coordinator’s Report: <br />C. <br />Approval of Deeds of Gifts from donors. <br />1.After discussion it was moved, <br />seconded and carried to accept the following items: <br />a.Centaurus High School1990 YearbookfromGayla Lindquist. <br />City of Louisville <br />Louisville Historical Museum <br />749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303-665-9048(phone) 303-335-4550 (fax) www.louisvilleco.gov <br /> <br />
