<br />7. Microwave dish antennae. <br /> <br />a. Unless the applicant demonstrates that an alternative location or <br />design is not technically or structurally feasible, microwave dish <br />antennae shall not be mounted to building walls. <br /> <br />b. Wall mounted microwave dish antennae shall not extend above the <br />building wall or parapet to which they are mounted, nor shall they <br />project om more than two feet from the building wall. <br /> <br />c. Roof mounted microwave dish antennae shall not be allowed on <br />pitched roofs. <br /> <br />d. Roof mounted microwave dish antennae shall be set back from <br />perimeter building walls to minimize the visual exposure of the units <br />from adjacent buildings, property, streets and sidewalks. <br /> <br />e. Roof mounted microwave dish antennae shall not extend more than <br />three feet above the height of the roof parapet, nor shall they exceed the <br />maximum building height in the zoning district unless a height exception <br />for the building has been granted by the City through a variance or PUD <br />approval process, and provided the standards for such process are met. <br /> <br />f. Administrative review is available only for roof mounted microwave <br />dish antennae meeting all of the above and other applicable <br />requirements. Wall mounted microwave dish antennae require Special <br />Review Use approval. <br /> <br />8. CMRS Facility Mechanical Units shall be enclosed within existing structures <br />or behind existing screening material. New ground or roof mounted mechanical <br />units will only be allowed when the applicant demonstrates that the use of <br />existing enclosures is not practical or feasible. <br /> <br />a. Noise generated from CMRS facility mechanical units or any <br />proposed auxiliary power for said units shall be muted by appropriate <br />noise control devices. Noise generated from mechanical units shall not <br />be audible at the property line of the CMRS facility site. <br />b. Ground mounted mechanical units. <br /> <br />1. Ground mounted mechanical units should be located away <br />from major pedestrian routes and outdoor seating areas. <br /> <br />2. All mechanical units shall be buffered from streets and <br />pedestrian areas with heavy landscaping to include a mix of <br />evergreen and deciduous shrubs and evergreen trees, as <br />determined necessary by the City and! or architectural screens. <br /> <br />7 <br />
