<br />2. Describe what it is like to work for you and how others would describe your <br />leadership style. <br /> <br />I believe it is empowering, challenging and inspiring to work with me. My <br />management philosophy dictatl~s a collaborative leadership and management style <br />which has been highly appreciated among elected officials, staff and citizens alike. <br />People like my principle centered approach to decision making and I am known for <br />my unyielding loyalty to leaders and staff. I strive to achieve clarity of expectations <br />in the workforce for which employees are grateful. I believe others would describe <br />my leadership style as one whkh fosters a culture of opportunity for innovation, <br />collaboration and customer service. People describe me as a consensus builder, a <br />listener who seeks first to understand others, and a manager who inspires <br />cooperation, pride and professionalism. People who work with me have described <br />my public speaking skills as top notch. I believe it is important for people to <br />experience joy in their work and have been told I have a special way to help others <br />feel safe, appreciated and encouraged. Others have described me as approachable <br />and caring, yet firm in fostering accountability in performance that public service <br />demands. <br />
