In Section 2 c, the words "detailed budget" were replaced with "approved <br />budget" . <br /> <br />3. In Section 5.c a revision was added to state "In considering a longer term <br />library intergovernmental agrE~ement, the Library Task Force shall consider the <br />fact that each party must comply with Article X, 9 20 of the Colorado Constitution <br />concerning multiple-fiscal year obligations." <br /> <br />4. Staff recommended the new subsection 5.d be deleted in its entirety so that <br />issues relating to current or future revenue sharing IGAs are reserved to the <br />governing bodies at that time. <br /> <br />5. Section 15 was revised to state that either party may terminate at any time. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Lisa Kahn, 304 S. McKinley Court, Louisville, Vice-Chair of the Library Board of <br />Trustees, thanked Council and the Superior Board of Trustees for their work on <br />the IGA. She requested Council consideration on the following changes: <br /> <br />. In the third WHEREAS the word "asserted" be replaced with "stated". <br />. In Section 2c. Delete the approximate cost for the Children's Bedtime, <br />Holiday, Literacy and \Nriter's Festival programs. <br />. Section 4. A public member from Louisville and Superior be appointed to <br />the Joint Library Task Force. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br /> <br />Council member Yarnell supported one public member from both Louisville and <br />Superior on the Joint Library Task Force. <br /> <br />Council member Muckle voiced his preference to go forward with the IGA as <br />written. He supported reasonable increases in the Town of Superior's <br />contribution to the City of Louisville for library services. He suggested striking <br />Section15 (Termination) all together. <br /> <br />Council member Marsella concurred with Council member Muckle. She <br />supported reasonable increases in Superior's contribution. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk stressed the importance of having a minimum number. He supported <br />going forward with the IGA, but not putting members of the public on the Task <br />Force in the agreement. He noted Superior requested Section 15. (Termination). <br />
