<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 20, 2007 <br />Page 3 of 13 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hl~aring and requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Wood explain1ed because the ordinance is still under the jurisdiction of <br />the Planning Commission, Staff is requesting Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007 be <br />continued to May 1, 2007. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Chuck Hill, 233 Jackson Circle, Louisville, CO stated he has made several suggestions <br />relative to the trailer ordinance Clnd welcomes further discussion. <br /> <br />Ian Karpel, 928 LaFarge Avenul~, Louisville, CO inquired as to the process Council <br />would follow to rewrite the ordinance. Interim City Manager Balser explained the <br />ordinance is now before the Planning Commission and the second reading of the repeal <br />ordinance will be May 1. A public meeting to receive public input will be held sometime <br />in May. A new ordinance will be drafted based on public comment, and come before <br />Council in July or August. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007 to May 1, <br />2007, seconded by Council member Marsella. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1456, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY <br />KNOWN AS THE HOYLE IPROPERTY - 2nd reading - Public Hearing - Staff <br />recommends continuance to 4/17/07 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004 and explained the Cities of <br />Louisville and Lafayette and Boulder County have approved the IGA amendment, <br />however the City of Broomfield has not. Staff recommended continuing Ordinance No. <br />1456, Series 2004 to April 17, 2007. Mr. Richard Lopez, Counsel for the Hoyle Family <br />Trust, has consented to the continuance. <br /> <br />Interim City Manager Balser reported on her discussions with the City of <br /> <br />Broomfield, and explained they also wish to amend the IGA. The City of Louisville has <br />suggested each IGA amendment be addressed separately. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown suggested writing a letter to Broomfield asking them to move <br />forward on this amendment to the IGA. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk suggested a letter be sent if the City of Broomfield has not scheduled the <br />IGA Amendment on their Council agenda by April 17, 2007. There was Council <br />consensus. <br />
