City Council Meeting Minutes March 20, 2007 Page 3 of 13 Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007. Mayor Sisk opened the public hl~aring and requested a Staff presentation. Planning Director Wood explain1ed because the ordinance is still under the jurisdiction of the Planning Commission, Staff is requesting Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007 be continued to May 1, 2007. PUBLIC COMMENT Chuck Hill, 233 Jackson Circle, Louisville, CO stated he has made several suggestions relative to the trailer ordinance Clnd welcomes further discussion. Ian Karpel, 928 LaFarge Avenul~, Louisville, CO inquired as to the process Council would follow to rewrite the ordinance. Interim City Manager Balser explained the ordinance is now before the Planning Commission and the second reading of the repeal ordinance will be May 1. A public meeting to receive public input will be held sometime in May. A new ordinance will be drafted based on public comment, and come before Council in July or August. MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue Ordinance No. 1511, Series 2007 to May 1, 2007, seconded by Council member Marsella. All in favor. ORDINANCE No. 1456, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE HOYLE IPROPERTY - 2nd reading - Public Hearing - Staff recommends continuance to 4/17/07 Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004 and explained the Cities of Louisville and Lafayette and Boulder County have approved the IGA amendment, however the City of Broomfield has not. Staff recommended continuing Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004 to April 17, 2007. Mr. Richard Lopez, Counsel for the Hoyle Family Trust, has consented to the continuance. Interim City Manager Balser reported on her discussions with the City of Broomfield, and explained they also wish to amend the IGA. The City of Louisville has suggested each IGA amendment be addressed separately. Mayor Pro Tem Brown suggested writing a letter to Broomfield asking them to move forward on this amendment to the IGA. Mayor Sisk suggested a letter be sent if the City of Broomfield has not scheduled the IGA Amendment on their Council agenda by April 17, 2007. There was Council consensus.
