The goal of the project is to determine the feasibility of <br />revenue sharing and what methodologies might be used. A short video program, <br />prepared by BBC Research and Consulting was presented. <br /> <br />The Consortium of Cities requested a $7000 contribution from Louisville for the <br />project towards the $49,000 Gontract with BBC. Funding requests would also be <br />made to the other members of the Consortium. The other members of the <br />Consortium's Revenue Sharing Work Group who attended the meeting were <br />Karen Imbierowicz, Town of Superior Town Trustee and Ben Perlman, Boulder <br />County Commissioner. <br /> <br />Boulder County Commissiom~r Perlman stated the municipalities are recognizing <br />the sales tax along the Front Range is much more volatile. <br /> <br />Superior Town Trustees 1mbierowicz stated the Town of Superior has not voted <br />on this matter, but is very inte~rested in the study. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Susan Morris, 939 W. Maple Court, Louisville, CO voiced her support for sales <br />tax revenue sharing. She encouraged the Council to move forward. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to approve a $7,000 contribution for the contract <br />with BBC, seconded by Council member Sackett. Roll call vote was taken. The <br />motion carried by a vote of 6..0. Mayor Pro Tem Brown abstained from voting. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 28, SERIES 2007 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIAL REVIEW USE FOR 932 <br />MAIN STREET <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Wood explained the applicant, 940 Main St. LLC (Arlin Lehman <br />and Mark Hirsch, represented by DT J Design Inc), is requesting authorization of <br />a final planned unit development (PUD) plan and Special Review Use for a multi- <br />story, mixed-use building structure supported by an underground parking <br />structure. The proposal woulld authorize redevelopment of four existing <br />properties located at the southeast quadrant of South Street and Main Street. <br />Three of those parcels would be redeveloped. <br /> <br />The property is just over one.-half acre in area and is currently occupied by five <br />buildings. The southerly parcel (920 Main Street), which is the historic location of <br />Joe's Market would not be deweloped. The Final PUD proposes a total combined <br />square footage of 38,600 to be allocated to a two, and three-story structure.
