r
CART PATHS
C art paths at Coal Creek generally run
from tee to green and are constructed
of concrete. Generally, the cart paths are
in good condition. However, because the
cart paths were constructed at only 6 feet
wide, wear from tires has resulted many
areas which have no turf next to the cart
paths. This is particularly an issue at tees
and greens and at corners. Lastly, in other
areas, cart paths are poorly positioned so
as to visually interfere with the golf course or
to unfairly direct golf balls out of bounds or
towards adjoining properties. Of particular
concern are the paths on holes No. 1 and
4.
COAL CREEK GOLF COURSE PRL/.1111,\
Our recommendation would be to widen cart
paths at tees and greens to eliminate dead
turf, standing water and "pot holes" which
can be unsafe for golfers.
Uraina,;e c wear from carts &.foot traffic at hole
gal wear al lees rcrn..
HERFORT NORBY GOLF COURSE ARCHITECTS PAGE 12 O<: roBElr 17, 2011
