Station Area Master Plan (STAMP) Implementation Study Intergovernmental Agreement <br />Hwy. 42 Corridor and Downtown Connection Study <br />September 16, 2011 <br />Page 1 <br />INTEGRATED IMPLEMENTATION PLAN <br />FOR: <br />Louisville Station Area Master Plan (Stamp) <br />Hwy 42 Corridor (from Locke Street to Paschal) <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT <br />by and between <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />749 Main Street <br />Louisville, Colorado 80027 <br />and <br />REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT <br />1600 Blake Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80202 <br />This Intergovernmental Agreement made this day of , 2011 (this <br />Agreement) between the Regional Transportation District (RTD), a political subdivision <br />of the State of Colorado, and City of Louisville (City), a Colorado home rule municipality, <br />is to provide funding assistance for the development of a Station Area Master Plan, or <br />STAMP Implementation Study, for the area surrounding the proposed Louisville Station <br />(Station Area) and along State Highway 42 from Locke Street to Paschal Drive. <br />RECITALS: <br />The context for this Agreement for RTD is established in the RTD TOD Policy <br />dated September 21, 2010 attached hereto as Exhibit A. The purpose of the Study shall <br />be to accomplish the following: <br />• Advance the preliminary design of key infrastructure investments that will <br />assist in realizing the adopted community vision for a transit supportive <br />mix of land uses and TOD within the Station Area, specifically: <br />o A South Street connection between Downtown Louisville and the <br />Highway 42 Revitalization Area across the Burlington Northern Santa Fe <br />(BNSF) right -of -way; <br />o A multi -modal connection to the proposed RTD station while providing a <br />regional connection between the Goodhue Ditch Trail and the Coal Creek <br />Trail; and <br />o Pedestrian considerations for the RTD Station Area. <br />248 <br />
