SECTION 10. Section 17.56.240 (A) of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. SECTION 11. The following section is hereby added to Title 17, Chapter 17.56 of the Louisville Municipal Code: A. The board shall schedule a hearing within thirty days of receipt of a special exception permit application if an applicant desires a hearing. At such a hearing, an applicant may be represented by counsel and may submit his own technical evidence. Pursuant to such an appli- cation, the board or the building official may require the following information from the applicant. Applications for subdivision or new development involving more than 50 lots or 5 acres shall contain the following informa- tion from the applicant: 1. Two copies of an aerial photograph, or a plan certified by a registered engineer competent in open channel hydraulics, which accurately locates the floodplain proposal with respect to the district limits, channel of stream, and existing floodplain developments, together with all pertinent informa- tion such as the nature of the proposal, legal description of the property, fill limits and eleva- tions, building floor elevations, and flood proofing measures; and 2. Information for the evaluation of the effects of the proposal upon the floodflows and floodplain stroage: a. A typical valley cross-section showing the channel of the stream, the floodplain adjoining each side of the channel, the cross-sectional area to be occupied by the proposed development, and high-water information, b. A surface view plan showing the elevations or contours of the ground; pertinent structure, fill or storage elevations; the size, location and special arrangement of all proposed and existing structures on the site; the location and elevations of streets, the water supply, sanitary facilities, and soil types and other pertinent information, c. A profile showing the slope of the bottom of the channel or the fall of the stream, and d. Specifications for building construction and material, floodprobfing, filling, dredging, grading, channel improvement, storage of materials, water supply, and sanitary facilites. SECTION 12. Section 17.56.260 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. SECTION 13. The following section is hereby added to Title 17, Chapter 17.56 of the Louisville Municipal Code: -7-
