<br />SECTION 10. Section 17.56.240 (A) of the Louisville Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 11. The following section is hereby added to Title 17, <br /> <br />Chapter 17.56 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />A. The board shall schedule a hearing within thirty days of <br />receipt of a special exception permit application if an <br />applicant desires a hearing. At such a hearing, an <br />applicant may be represented by counsel and may submit <br />his own technical evidence. Pursuant to such an appli- <br />cation, the board or the building official may require the <br />following information from the applicant. Applications <br />for subdivision or new development involving more than <br />50 lots or 5 acres shall contain the following informa- <br />tion from the applicant: <br /> <br />1. Two copies of an aerial photograph, or a plan <br />certified by a registered engineer competent in <br />open channel hydraulics, which accurately locates <br />the floodplain proposal with respect to the district <br />limits, channel of stream, and existing floodplain <br />developments, together with all pertinent informa- <br />tion such as the nature of the proposal, legal <br />description of the property, fill limits and eleva- <br />tions, building floor elevations, and flood proofing <br />measures; and <br /> <br />2. Information for the evaluation of the effects of the <br />proposal upon the floodflows and floodplain stroage: <br /> <br />a. A typical valley cross-section showing the <br />channel of the stream, the floodplain adjoining <br />each side of the channel, the cross-sectional <br />area to be occupied by the proposed development, <br />and high-water information, <br /> <br />b. A surface view plan showing the elevations or <br />contours of the ground; pertinent structure, fill <br />or storage elevations; the size, location and <br />special arrangement of all proposed and existing <br />structures on the site; the location and elevations <br />of streets, the water supply, sanitary facilities, <br />and soil types and other pertinent information, <br /> <br />c. A profile showing the slope of the bottom of the <br />channel or the fall of the stream, and <br /> <br />d. Specifications for building construction and <br />material, floodprobfing, filling, dredging, grading, <br />channel improvement, storage of materials, water <br />supply, and sanitary facilites. <br /> <br />SECTION 12. Section 17.56.260 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br /> <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 13. The following section is hereby added to Title 17, <br /> <br />Chapter 17.56 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />-7- <br />
