<br />17.24.150 Maximum Gross Surface Area in Residential Districts <br /> <br />The fOllowing shall be the maximum gross surface area allowed for <br /> <br />signs in residential districts: <br /> <br />A. Nameplate signs I two square feet I <br />B. Bulletin board signs I fifteen square feet I <br />C. Identification signs I thirty-two square feet I <br />D. Real estate sign I six square feet I provided that one sign not <br />more than one hundred square feet in area announcing the sale <br />of lots and/or houses in a subdivision may be located on such <br />development. Such signs shall be removed when all of the <br />lots and/or houses in the subdivision have been sold I <br />E. Construction sjlgns I twenty square feet I <br />F. Business signs I not permitted in residential districts I <br />G. Advertising signs I not permitted in residential districts. <br /> <br />17.24.160 Maximum Gross Surface Area in Non-Residential Districts <br /> <br />The maximum gross surface area of signs in non-residential districts <br /> <br />shall be: One square foot for each lineal foot of street frontage or building <br /> <br />frontage, provided no single sign of any use exceeds a gros s surface area <br /> <br />of one hundred square feet. <br /> <br />17 . 24 . 170 Building and Electrical Codes Applicable <br /> <br />All signs shall conform to the regulations and design standards of <br /> <br />the building code of the City and to the wiring of electrical code of the <br /> <br />City or State, whichever is applicable. <br /> <br />SECTION 12. Sectjlon 17.24. 130 (E) of Title 17 of the Louisville <br /> <br />Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 13. The following subsection is hereby added to Section <br /> <br />17.24.130 I Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />E. Scoreboards and athletic stadiums. <br /> <br />SECTION 14. Section 17.24.140 of Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> <br />Code dealing with exemptions from permit requirements shall be amended to <br /> <br />add the following subsection: <br /> <br />G. Real estate "For Sale" signs. <br /> <br />SECTION 15. Section 17.28.100 of Title 17 of the Louisville Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 16. The following section is hereby added to Title 17, <br /> <br />Chapter 17.28 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />17.28.100 Signs. <br /> <br />Subject to the express approval of the City Council, all signs within <br /> <br />shopping and business centers shall be controlled by written agreement <br /> <br />between the owners and the tenants of the center, or otherwise I to avoid <br />
