<br />G. "Treasurer" mec:lnS the duly appointed treasurer of the city. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Section 3.16.030 of Title 3 of the Louisville <br /> <br />Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 4. The following section is hereby added to chapter <br />3.16 of Title 3 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br />3.16.030 Applicability. <br /> <br />The expansion fee shall apply to only new construction and <br /> <br />shall not apply to alterations or additions to an existing structure. <br /> <br />The fee shall not apply to the construction of an accessory struc- <br /> <br />ture or to remodeling, improvements, or additions to a structure <br /> <br />subsequent to the issuance of the origina.l Certificate of Occupancy <br /> <br />under Title 15 for said structure. New construction of churches, <br /> <br />clinics, hospitals, schools, and public structures shall be exempt <br />from the expansion fee. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. Section 3.24.010 of Title 3 of the Louisville <br /> <br />Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 6. The following section is hereby added to chapter <br />3.24 of Title 3 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br />3.24.010 Definitions. <br /> <br />For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall <br /> <br />apply: <br /> <br />A. "Accessory stru.cture" means a structure incidental or sub- <br />ordinate to the main use of the property including, but <br />not limited to, garages, patios, and tool sheds. <br /> <br />B. "Building" means any structure, other than public structures, <br />without references to use or occupancy for which a build- <br />ing permit is required by the provisions of this code. <br /> <br />C. "Building official" means the officer charged with the <br />administration and enforcement of the Uniform Building <br />Code, as adopted by the city, or his regularly authorized <br />deputy. <br /> <br />D. "Contractor" means any person, firm, partnership, joint <br />venture, or corporation required to obtain a building per- <br />mit under Title 15, adopting by reference the Uniform <br />Building Code, or any city ordinance adopting subsequent <br />editions of the Uniform Building Code. <br /> <br />E. "Floor area" means the area included within the surround- <br />ing exterior walls of a building or portion thereof, meas- <br />ured from the inside of all exterior walls which is fin- <br />ished for living purposes and does not include garages and <br />unfinished subgrade levels. <br /> <br />F. "Parks and recreational fees" means the fee determined by <br />this chapter, and any subsequent amendment thereto, to be <br />used for the creation of the city park and recreation fund. <br />
