<br />(5) Upon receipt of the plat and the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission, the City Council shal I approve, disapprove or refer <br />the plat back to the Planning Commission for further study. If <br />the plat is disapproved or referred, the reasons shal I be stated <br />in writing and furnished to the subdivider. <br />(6) Fol lowing acceptance of the Final Plat by the City Counci I, the <br />Plat shal I be signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk. <br />The City Clerk shal I then record the Plat in the office of the <br />Boulder County Clerk and Recorder. The subdivider shal I furnish <br />to the City Clerk the recording fee required by the Boulder County <br />Clerk and Recorder prior to recording of the Plat. <br /> <br />(B) Form of the Final Plat. <br /> <br />(I) A map of the plat shall be drawn at a scale of I" = 100' or larger <br />with the use of permanent lines or ink and the outer dimensions of <br />the map shal I be 24" x 36". The drawing shal I be made on a repro- <br />ducible linen or mylar. A photographic copy on matt fi 1m equal in <br />qual ity to ink lines on mylar wi I I be considered as an original. <br />Maps of two or more sheets shal I be referenced to an index map <br />placed on the first sheet. . <br />(2) An original, a sepia, a linen print and three (3) paper copies of <br />the Final Plat shall be prepared and submitted. Also, a reproducible <br />reduction at 8 1/2" x 14" of the Final Plat shal I be submitted. <br /> <br />(C) Contents of the Final Plat. <br /> <br />(I) The title under which the subdivision is to be recorded; <br />(2) Accurate dimensions for al I lines, angles, and curves used to des- <br />cribe boundaries, streets, af leys, easements, areas to be reserved <br />for public use, and other important features. AI I curves shal I <br />be circular arcs and shal I be defined by the radius, central angle, <br />tangent, arc and chord distances and chord bearings. AI I dimensions, <br />both linear and angular, are to be determined by an accurate con- <br />trol survey in the field which must balance and close within a <br />limit of one in ten thousand. No final plat showing plus or minus <br />dimensions will be approved; <br />(3) Names of al I adjoining subdivisions with dotted lines of abutting <br />lots. If the adjoining land is unplatted, it should be shown as <br />such; <br />(4) An identification system for al I lots and blocks and names for <br />streets; <br />(5) An identification of the streets, alleys, easements, parks, other <br />public facil ities as shown on the plat and a dedication thereof to <br />the pub I i c use; <br />(6) Total acreage and surveyed description of the area; <br />(7) A description of al I monuments, both found and set, which mark the <br />boundaries of the property, and a description of al I control monu- <br />ments used in conducting the survey; <br />(8) A statement by the land surveyor that the survey was performed by <br />him in accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes, Chapter 51, <br />Article 2 (1963, as amended in 1967) or under his direct respons- <br />ibi lity, supervision and checking; <br /> <br />2-4 <br />
