Section 4-102. Uti lities The fol lowing uti Iltles shal I be provided and connected to existing public systems by the subdivider: (A) Water lines and fire hydrants; (f3) San i ta ry sewer lines; (C) Storm drainage improvements and storm sewers where required; (D) In the event oversized util ities or off-site improvements are required, arrangements for reimbursement shall be made whereby the subdivider may be al lowed to recover the cost of the uti I ities or off-site improvements that have been provided by him beyond the needs of his development. The method and time of payment under the reimbursement shal I be establ ished in accor- dance with the City of Louisvi I Ie current pol icies relating to the emplace- ment of such oversized util itles or off-site improvements. Section 4-103. Other Imorovements (A) Telephone lines and electric lines and other I ike uti lity services shal I be placed underground. The subdivider shal I be responsible for com- plying with the requirements of this section and he shal I make the necessary arrangements including any construction or installation charges with each of the serving uti lities for the installation of such facilities and shal I be subject to al I appl icable laws and regulations for the construction of the same. Transformers, switching boxes, terminal boxes, meter cabinets, pedestals, ducts and other faci I ities necessari Iy appurtenant to such underground uti I ities may be placed above ground with the approval of the Planning Commission and City Counci I. Electric transmission and distribu- tion feeder I ines and communication long distance trunk and feeder lines and necessary appurtenances thereto may be placed above ground. Such fac- i I ities shal I be placed within easements or public rights-of-way provided for particular faci lities. (B) Other improvements not specifically mentioned herein but found nec- essary due to conditions found on the site by the City Engineer shal I be requ ired. Section 4-104. "As Bui It" Plans Finished plans of al I public improvements as instal led shal I be required before the City wi I I accept the improvements. The working plans as approved are acceptable if they remain true after construction and as long as this is attested to by a registered engineer. Section 4-105. Release of Guarantee The subdivider shal I be responsible to have the improvements instal led, paid for and finally accepted by the City of Louisvi I Ie. The guarantees are re- quired of the subdivider in order to meet this standard. The guarantee or guarantees may be released, in whole or in part, upon written request by the subdivider to the City Council who shal I grant the same in accordance with the standards as herein set forth. 4-2
