ARTICLE 6 ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS Section 6-101. Interpretation The provisions of this Ordinance shal I be held to be the minimum requirements for the promotion of the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the present and future inhabitants of the City of Louisvi I Ie. Where the conditions imposed by any provision of this Ordinance are less re- strictive than comparable conditions imposed by any other provisions of this Ordinance or of any other Ordinance, resolution, or regulation, the provisions which are more restrictive shal I govern. Section 6-102. Severabil ity The provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable. If any section, sentence, clause, or phrase of this Ordinance is adjudged by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shal I not affect the val idity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. Section 6-103. Penalty Any subdivider who shal I violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance shal I be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shal I pay a penalty of not more than three hundred dollars ($300) or a jai I sentence of not more than ninety (90) days or by both such fine and Imprisonment. Each day that a violation of this Ordinance continues shal I constitute a separate and distinct offense, and shal I be punishable as such. Section 6-104. Amendment The within Ordinance may be amended by the City Counci I after holding a public hearing thereon, which public hearing wil I be held after publ ishing notice thereof more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of hearing in a news- paper of general circulation in the City of Loulsvi I Ie. 6-1
