<br />(I) Development Plan Map. The Development Plan Map for the City of Louisvi I Ie <br />which has been officially adopted as a portion of the Comprehensive Development <br />Plan. <br /> <br />(J) Drainage Easement. A granting to the City of the right to control devel- <br />opment of a drainage right-of-way or an area subject to periodic flooding. <br />Development on such easement shal I be restricted to uses which would not inter- <br />fere with the flow of the water or act as a barrier for debris. <br /> <br />(K) Dwelling, Multi-Unit. A bui IdIng used by two or more famil ies living in- <br />dependently of each other in separate dwel ling units but not including hotels, <br />motels or resorts. <br /> <br />(L) Dwel I ing, Sin~le Fami Iy. A detached principal bui Iding other than a mobile <br />home designed for or used as a dwel ling exclusively by one family as an inde- <br />pendent I iving unit. <br /> <br />(M) Dwel I ing Unit. One room or rooms connected together constituting a sep- <br />arate independent housekeeping establIshment for owner occupancy or rental or <br />lease on a monthly or longer basis - physically separated from any other rooms <br />or dwel ling units which may be in the same structure - and served by not more <br />than one gas meter and one electric meter. <br /> <br />(N) Easement. Authorization by a property owner for the use by the public, <br />a corporation, or persons, of any designated part of his property for specific <br />purposes. <br /> <br />(0) Freeway. Any divided street or highway with complete access control and <br />grade separated interchanges with al I other public streets and highways. <br /> <br />(P) Half Street. A street bordering one or more property I ines of a sub- <br />division tract to which the subdivider has al located only a portion of the <br />ultimate and intended street wIdth. <br /> <br />(0) Improvements. AI I facilities constructed or erected by a subdivider with- <br />in a subdivision to permit and facilItate the use of lots or blocks for a <br />principal residential, business or manufacturing purpose. Improvements shal I <br />include al I faci tities listed in Article 4 of these regulations. <br /> <br />(R) Local Street. Any street designated primari Iy to provIde access to <br />abutting property. <br /> <br />($) Lot Area. Total horizontal area within the lot lines of a lot. <br /> <br />(T) Lot, Corner. A lot abutting upon two (2) or more streets at their inter- <br />section or upon two (2) parts of the same street and where, in either case, <br />the interior angle formed by the Intersection of street lines does not exceed <br />one hundred thirty-five (135) degrees. <br /> <br />(U) Lot Coverage. The per cent of the total lot area avai lable for bulk or <br />bu i I dIngs. <br /> <br />(V) Lot Depth. The average horizontal distance between front and rear lot <br />lines. <br /> <br />7-2 <br />
