He expressed his desire <br />to help keep the environment clean for everyone. <br /> <br />Jenny Braus, 733 McKinley Avenue, Louisville, CO, Chairperson ofthe Louisville <br />Resource Conservation Advisory Board thanked John Breaux for his environmental <br />efforts. She stated John sets a fine example for the rest of the City. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1456, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY <br />KNOWN AS THE HOYLE PROPERTY - 2nd reading - public hearing (advertised <br />Daily Camera 9/25/04 & 2/27/05) - (continued from 10/19/04 & 2/1/05) <br />(recommended to be continued to a date to be determined, no later than 5/17/05) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing, and explained Mr. Richard Lopez, representing <br />the Hoyle Family, has submitted a letter requesting a continuance of the ordinance. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons reported on meetings with Mr. Lopez, the City Staff and the <br />Boulder County Staff to resolve issues. A sixty-day continuance is requested to permit <br />the discussions to continue. He noted a resolution may occur earlier that May 17. <br /> <br />Mr. Richard Lopez, 4450 Arapahoe, Boulder, CO, stated continuing the application to <br />May 17, 2005 would provide for additional discussions with the County, and allow the <br />Hoyle family to explore other options. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light asked if the issues were resolved before May 17, would the <br />Hoyle family feel comfortable waiting until the 17th. Mr. Lopez stated the Hoyle family <br />would be willing to wait until May 17. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue Ordinance No. 1456, Series 2004, to May 17, <br />2005, seconded by Council member Levihn. All in favor. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING/REQUEST FOR AN AMENDMENT TO A FINAL PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CENTENNIAL PAVILIONS TO AUTHORIZE AN <br />EXISTING NON-CONFORMING SIGN (continued from 2/1/05 & 3/1/05) <br />(recommended for withdrawal) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood explained the applicants Matthew and Tamela Cox have <br />closed their business. Mr. Scott Pedersen, the building owner, has confirmed he will re- <br />lease the tenant space and does not anticipate that it would reopen as a LaMar's Donuts. <br /> <br />3 <br />
