All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No.9, SERIES 2005 - A RESOLUTION FOR ADOPTION OF <br />THE V ANTAGECARE RETIREMENT HEAL TH SAVINGS (RHS) PROGRAM <br />FOR CITY OF LOUISVILLE EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd explained the ICMA Retirement Corporation, which <br />administers the 401(a) and 457 retirement plans for the City of Louisville employees, has <br />recently added a program called the VantageCare Retirement Health Savings Program. <br />This would be an optional program available for any full-time benefited employee, <br />funded entirely by the employee with no matching contribution by the City. The plan <br />would allow employees to elect to make a regular irrevocable, voluntary pretax <br />contribution to the program. Earnings would grow tax-deferred and as long as the <br />account assets are used to pay for qualified medical benefits, withdrawals will be tax free <br /> <br />7 <br />
