<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 19, 2005 <br />Page 4 of 11 <br /> <br />The following members of the Historic Preservation Commission were in <br />attendance to address Council questions: Heather Lewis; Laurel Tofte; Rod <br />Wilcox; Mike Koertje; Melanie Julian Muckle, and Dan Trudeau. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Council member Van Pelt thanked the Historic Preservation Commission for their <br />work on the ordinance. She asked for clarification on requirement for incentives. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light explained some administrative assistance may be <br />required to make the public aware of the incentives, and at some point, <br />provisions may be formulized by resolutions, which would establish guidelines for <br />the administration of programs, and there would be supplemental appropriations <br />for funding component. <br /> <br />Council member Van Pelt voiced her support of the incentives stipulated in the <br />ordinance, and for the 50-year age limit. <br /> <br />Council member Marsella thanked and congratulated the Historic Preservation <br />Commission for their work on the ordinance. She also supported the incentives <br />and the 50-year age limit. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked the Historic Preservation Commission member for the work <br />on the requested revisions to the ordinance. He stated the Commission listened <br />to the wishes of the public and Council and crafted a working model for the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment, and hearing none, closed the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved for Council approval of Ordinance No. <br />1463, Series 2005, seconded by Council member Van Pelt. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light offered a friendly amendment that the 50-year age limit be <br />included in the ordinance. <br /> <br />Council members Keany and Van Pelt accepted the amendment. <br /> <br />VOTE: Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. Absent- <br />Council member Levihn. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1464, SERIES 2005 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, BOULDER COUNTY, COLORADO, GRANTING A NON- <br />EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE TO PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF COLORADO, <br />ITS AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, OF THE RIGHT TO USE <br />THE STREETS WITHIN THE CITY TO FURNISH, SELL, TRANSMIT, <br />
